New on Hep C Straightup! ... Q & A

Hey, there's a great new addition to Hep C Straight Up: a Q & A page for any hep C-related questions you might have. Cuz believe it ... if you're wondering about something, then others are too.

I just got the form up and running today (Thursday, January 26, 2006), so you won't find anything on it right now - except a link to submit a question - to be posted by Friday.

... and I hope you will.

Till next time, take it easy - straight up.

Hep C Straightup's On The Move ...

... and I want to take you with me.
January 18, 2006

Just want to let you all know that by next week I’m going to incorporate this blog into the Hep C Straight Up site. My initial goal here was to inspire dialogue re: hep C. Since then, I’ve gotten some feedback that folks are pretty “blogged out.” I’m also hearing from folks, that it’s a real pain in the butt to comment here, because to do so, you have to create an account and stuff (which won't be the case at Hep C Straightup). As a result, the comments submitted here are few and far between, so this venue's not really evolved into a discussion.
Now, hey – don’t get me wrong – I hugely appreciate the comments left by those of you who left them: mostly good friends and supporters. Thank you, and I love y’all in very special & unique ways.

The straight up is, rather than simply spout off, I’d prefer to spout off about something that people want to read. Hey – I have an opinion, and you’re all entitled to it – but this move will allow me to share what I’ve learned in my years since I was diagnosed with, and of working in, hep C. If you live with hep C – whether you have it, or a loved one – then you're entitled to know anything and everything about this disease: the straight up.
Finally, it also helps me to stay on more of a schedule with updating hep C info in one place. My goal is to publish something each week; clearly, a goal yet to be reached (sigh).

Anywho ... as it’s been said, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Till next time, take it easy …
